Christina Morris and Jeffrey Weidmann are Licensed Acupuncturists in the state of New York. They are Diplomates of Oriental Medicine, including Diplomates of Acupuncture and Herbology and Board Certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Each studied at the International Institute of Chinese Medicine where they earned Masters Degrees in Oriental Medicine. During the course of their training, Christina and Jeffrey studied in China completing clinical internships in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology, and Tui Na at the China–Japan Friendship Hospital in Beijing and the Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Chengdu. Both Christina and Jeffrey interned at New Mexico's largest rehabilitation hospital, Health South. They have both completed course studies on Acupuncture for the Cancer Patient at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center Integrative Medicine service in New York City. Christina and Jeffrey also received training in Thai massage in Thailand and in New York City. They have published numerous articles on acupuncture and they are part of the Long Island College Hospital’s Wellness Program.
Christina holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a concentration in Medicine from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. She is also a Certified Reflexologist with additional training in Maternity Reflexology.
