Chisato specializes in treating athletes and musicians and excels in working with numerous conditions pre- and post-surgery. She uses a combination of medical massage, deep tissue, Shiatsu (acupressure), stretching, and prenatal techniques, and holds a certificate in carpal tunnel syndrome treatment.
A graduate of the Swedish Institute College of Health Science since 2011, Chisato is currently studying Ortho-Bionomy, a non-invasive, osteopathically-based form of body therapy that assesses and gently corrects alignment in order to prevent injury. In her spare time, she likes to play the guitar and draw, and has served as a teacher’s assistant at the Art Student League of New York. She lives in Brooklyn with her twin sons.
