Topical Pain Relief

At Element, we specialize in relieving aches and pains. In additional to massage, acupuncture, and cupping therapies, we offer a wide range of balms, creams, gels, and patches that help you feel your best. But with such a wide array, how do we make a customized recommendation? It all comes down to the ingredients and the application. Here’s a run-down of our most popular topical pain relief products.

Father’s Day on Sunday

Father’s Day is approaching this Sunday. Just in case you missed our latest newsletter here ya’ go!

To those looking for a Father’s Day gift for beloved Dads, Dads-to-be, and Dad-like folks, Element is proud to announce our warm love for all kinds of Daddies. We hear them being called lots of names: papa, baba, pop, pai, dad, opa, tata, father. We say to them, “You are the man, you are the legend!”

Sunscreen: Fact and Fiction

Fiction: SPF 30 sunscreen is twice as strong as SPF 15 sunscreen.
Fact: SPF, or Sun Protection Factor, is a number that describes the percentage of UVB rays the sunscreen blocks out. SPF 15 blocks around 94% of rays, SPF 30 around 97%, and SPF 45 around 98%. SPF can be a misleading number to consumers because, as shown in the previous fact, SPF describes a percentage of effectiveness of blocking out rays.

Granny Appreciation

My grandmother turned 91 this week and she’s as quick-witted as ever! It’s a joy to talk to her — her southern tone is always warm and welcoming. She lives alone in her house in Tennessee, where she’s visited by family and church friends every day.

Element Natural Healing Arts was established to provide care for those seeking to improve their health and well being. Element offers acupuncture and massage and a variety of holistic therapies.
