Earlier in May, I had a wonderful opportunity to present a webinar hosted by LhasaOMS, the largest acupuncture supply company in the United States. They asked me to talk about CBD topical creams and the way I incorporate them into my practice and treatments to help patients with pain conditions.
Initially I was hesitant, “Who would want this from hear me? What kind of information can I present that people don’t already know?” I had to give myself a shake and face the fact: after almost 20 years of experience and a thriving practice, I must have something valuable to offer. As I sat down to prepare my talk, I realized I have a lot to say! I can’t take for granted that experience I rely on everyday and the wisdom I’ve gained over the years are “common” knowledge. Education and good communication are two key factors in the growth and development of any acupuncture practice, which is made clear to me every day. We should all want success for ourselves, of course, but also to facilitate the success of others. I feel enthusiastic to share my experience and my knowledge with fellow acupuncturists and patients seeking guidance for health-related conditions. It’s an honor to help people and to work with all kinds of people, both as a practitioner and as an educator.
Here is the link to my first webinar, so you all can see it, too.
