Armie is licensed to practice acupuncture in both New York and Florida. She graduated with a Masters of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York. She is also board certified as a Diplomat of Oriental Medicine through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Armie’s love of science began with undergraduate studies in biology (pre-med) at Loyola University New Orleans, and continues on in her desire to practice holistic medicine. She practices Shaolin martial arts at the USA Shaolin Temple, where she trains in kung fu, Tai Chi, and Qigong. Armie incorporates these martial art exercises into sessions to help patients rehabilitating from musculoskeletal and orthopedic injuries.
In Florida, Armie practiced acupuncture at Birthmarks, a prenatal wellness center focused on women’s health, fertility, and prenatal/postpartum care. Armie also has specific interests in pain management through motor point therapy, psycho-emotional support, and respiratory issues. She offers tui na, gua sha, cupping, and e-stim as part of her healing practice.
