Dr. Andrew Clark graduated as a Doctor of Oriental Medicine from Pacific College and is a licensed acupuncturist in New York as well as being a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), inclusive of acupuncture and herbology. He has almost a decade of experience as a Licensed Massage Therapist focussing on the relief of acute and chronic pain syndromes as well as issues surrounding pregnancy. His advanced training includes study at the International Acupuncture Training Center (Beijing) and an internship at the TCM hospital for Acupuncture and Moxibustion (Beijing). His post-graduate study includes Neurofunctional Acupuncture for the treatment of pain with Dr. Dan Wunderlich and completion of a 1.5 year certification program in Kyo-Jung, a Korean form of postural balancing, with Dr. Stephen Jackowicz.
Andrew was a professional dancer in NYC for 14 years and continues his personal practice in Aikido and Zazen. A lifelong student, he brings to his practice an abiding fascination with the many facets of health and well-being and is truly passionate about the vitality and efficacy of traditional healing traditions. By combining acupuncture, herbology, and bodywork as well as providing suggestions on diet and exercise, Andrew works with each patient towards the cultivation of “whole-person healing”, relieving both the symptoms, and the imbalances that created, them for a fuller experience of life.
