Brogan works with a combination of modalities including Meditation, Mindfulness, Restorative Yoga, Essential Oils, Reiki, Nutrition, and Fine Art to create integrative programs that fit each personal and individual client’s needs. She specializes in relief from stress, anxiety, insomnia, pain, hospice care, and cancer care for both children and adults. Sessions build on each other and develop so that her clients feel empowered and able to maintain balance in their day to day lives, not just in the studio.
Brogan has developed Wellness Mindfulness and Meditation programs for public and private schools working with both teachers and children. She has also developed a unique program called the Art of Meditation which emphasizes creative development as well as the teachings of Mindfulness Meditation. She has worked in many New York hospitals with patients in Oncology and General wards using Integrative Therapy, Mindfulness, and Meditation. She continues to collaborate with the non-profit organization The Creative Center, bringing creative arts to people with cancer and chronic illness. Brogan is a Reiki Master and has been a practitioner for over 8 years, having trained at Mahamudra Buddhist Centre in New Zealand and with renowned Japanese healer Mika Ichihara in New York. She has a Usui-shiki Ryoho Reiki Certificate, a Healing Practitioner Certificate, and Reiki Master Qualification.
Brogan has been practicing meditation for 15 years (including study in India, Nepal, New Zealand, and England), and has been teaching Mindfulness and Meditation for 8 years.
Brogan is a registered Yoga Teacher and has practiced Yoga from childhood in New Zealand. Her certification is with Prajna Yoga and philosopher and author Tias Little (himself greatly influenced by B. K. S. Iyengar and K. Pattabhi Jois). Brogan teaches Yoga using a therapeutic and restorative approach with a view that Yoga is for every body and mind at any age. She has also trained specifically as a children’s Yoga teacher at Bija Yoga.
Brogan is a certified Urban Zen Integrative Therapist trained by Rodney Yee, Colleen Saidman, Richard Rosen, and Mary Taylor.
She also has a degree in Fine Art from Wimbledon College of Art in London and has a studio painting and sculptural practice.
